SPN engineers are leaders in the water supply and treatment industry. Our staff engineers have graduate degrees specializing in the field. Our Project Managers have served as officers in the South Dakota chapter of the American Water Works Association.

At SPN, our engineers understand the challenges communities face as they strive to provide quality water to their constituents while keeping costs down. We work with communities through the critical job of funding large or small treatment or distribution system upgrades.

SPN engineers utilize state-of-the-art computerized techniques for design and analysis of city distribution systems and rural water pipelines. We provide operational assistance for treatment plant and distribution system operators. SPN has design experience in such treatment technologies as iron and manganese removal, clarification, softening and filtration. SPN has also been a pioneer in new treatment technologies, completing a pilot-scale study, and the design and construction of the first full-scale membrane microfiltration water treatment plant in South Dakota.
